As we ramp up this product for our team, it’s becoming increasingly evident that a better messaging/commenting tool would make Airtable MUCH more useful. The current commenting system (which is oddly mashed together with the revision history) is too hard to get to… and sometimes a conversation isn’t specifically related to just one record. The ability to “send record” via email is just too cumbersome for repeated conversations with fellow collaborators, especially since the recipient has to be manually entered every single time. And though products like Slack can help, it’s just not as seamless as we’d like.
I’d love it if there were just a Block or something that allowed collaborators to @mention each other AND tag/link specific tables, records, and fields.
