It is indeed tougher than it needs to be, and having the link back to normal airtable tucked away in the menu is silly as well. I recommend either creating a general portal for your various links, or appending them to each record using a button. You can even have the formula output โโ if the filter requirements of the interface are not met, which will then deactivate the button.
