Instead of click click and click, why not implementing sidebar navigation! Kindly take a look at how fibery.io or monday.com implement their UI navigation!
It is indeed tougher than it needs to be, and having the link back to normal airtable tucked away in the menu is silly as well. I recommend either creating a general portal for your various links, or appending them to each record using a button. You can even have the formula output “” if the filter requirements of the interface are not met, which will then deactivate the button.
