For readability it would be nice to be able to present numbers (especially large ones) with separators such as commas. Custom defined number formats would be even better (regex).
Just bumping this for those who may have missed it. These routines allow currency and number formatting with user-specified thousands and decimal separators, fixed number of decimal places, use of parentheses to indicate negative numbers, left-, right-, and decimal-alignment, and other features. The formatting does not work on input fields, but does give you a way to present currency and numbers from calculated fields consistently.
This should be added immediately, itโs incredible difficult when managing large numbers and it would make things much easier to understand at a glance! Surely such a simple task should not be so hard to implement? :grinning_face_with_sweat:
why this feature still doesnโt exist? how can it be? airtable is about working with tables and numbers primary, so y u still donโt realise that feature? itโs horrible
