I’d love to be able to defer active filtering (e.g. until after field entry).
Right now data entry can mess up the workflow because the view gets a refresh during editing of a field that is part of the filter (when the filter kicks in). The rows move up but the ‘old’ filtered row is placed on top of the new selection / top row.
The result is there’s no way for the user to quickly update the view. Without the filter users can simply edit the field and jump to the next row using the enter key.
