What is the proposed idea/solution?
The ability to reference particular fields, for particular records, within Interfaces Text elements. For example, I would like to reference recQ77P760pXXXxxx → Field: Customer Name within a Text element to display this information.
This could be achieved by implementing something like shortcode support in interface elements, so that if I include text like this:
Hello {recQ77P760pXXXxxx}{Customer Name}, welcome back!
It would reference the record and the field, and output something like this:
Hello Benjamin, welcome back!
How does is solve the user problems?
Streamlines and enhances the ability to display information from tables within Interfaces.
How was this validated?
Today, there are limited capability in display non-numerical non-chartable text from tables within User Interfaces.
