When turning off ‘Allow linking to multiple records’ on the to corresponding ‘linked fields’ in two tables it is still possible to link multiple records to one.
This is because only the relationship is only restricted from the active table, so it is possible to do this:
Which then creates multiple entries here:
Ideally, you would be restricted from doing this.
