Upvoting this! Hopefully Airtable creates a feature for this soon. Alternatively I'd like a validation for specific values within a fielde.g. do not allow checkbox to be ticked if these fields have not been completed.

I also found this to be annoying, it would be great if there was a workaround where the Email field itself forces all lowercase and doesn't create a new record.
