I would check the format of the incoming data and the format of the data that Airtable accepts. There is a difference writing URL into a text field and into and uploading into an attachment field in Airtable.

I suspect Airtable may have done it also because they want users to purchase AI credits to generate images instead of looking for free photos. That makes Airtable more money than a free extension.

Revised answer:Yes creating a backup of the extension is the only way right now to save the configuration. If the backup of the extension is disabled it doesn't count towards the total number of extensions (for accounts with less than Pro/Enterprise)...
