So I have a Phone Number field containing phone numbers in this format: (123) 456-7890, and I want to automatically convert those numbers to links so that users can click on them to dial.

When you say when using the app on my phone, are you referring to the Airtable app?I'm looking for a solution that allows for users of my web app to click that field and be able to dial that number... I tried this solution but it didn't work for me.....
