Bug Report: iOS Update Removes Ability to Check Items in List View

The latest iOS update for mobile interfaces appears to have removed the ability to 'check' items in the list view.

Older mobile interface pages still work and allow boxes to be checked, but newly created interface pages will not work.

I'm assuming this is a bug, given that this feature was enabled on release and announced to have this feature.
