Hi,
I have a table for faults and a table for handymen. Each fault can have multiple handymen assigned to it, and each handyman may receive a different payment—for example, one might charge $50 while another charges $100.
Is it possible to create the same fault twice in the fault table to associate the fault with each handyman and thus set a different payment for each one?
I tried creating another table that connects the faults table and the handymen table, and it worked wonderfully. This allowed me to associate all the handymen with the same fault and add a "payment" column so each handyman could receive a different payment. However, when using the INTERFACER, I faced a problem: I had to fill out a form in the faults table and then another form in the table that connects the faults to the handymen.
How would you solve this problem? I want to fill out just one form. Is it acceptable to create the same fault twice in the faults table to associate it with a different handyman? After all, each handyman does a different job on the same fault.
