Hi,
In Airtable, I have a table of faults, a table of handymen, and a table that combines faults and handymen.
I want to set it up so that through the INTERFACE, I can create a new RECORD in the table of faults. Using the LINK TO ANOTHER RECORD field, if the desired value doesn't exist, I want to be able to create the new value through the form in the table of faults.
Is this possible?

Nope, this isn't possible I'm afraid. You'd need to provide another form link for them to create a record and then they'd have to come back to the original form
If you're open to third party solutions you can try Fillout (https://www.fillout.com/) which handles this issue and integrates with Airtable
