I made a task manager with the new interface designer. Basically a record list from a “tasks table”. It is indeed way more interesting to look at the rows of that table displayed as an interface.

Unfortunately, I’m afraid my team will be unable to look at their notifications from that view. If they go back to bases (enabling them to look at notifications again) and open a notification, it will open a regular airtable card, which could be confusing for some people.

I wonder if there’s a widget to put notifications in the interface, or maybe just the notifications regarding the table behind that particular interface. So when someone is mentioned in a row and that person opens the notification, it just refreshes the interface with the new row (displayed as an interface).

Thanks for this update, really appreciated.

As a project manager who is soliciting feedback via an Interface, it's important to me to know when someone has commented so that I can review the feedback and take appropriate action.

Use case: I feel like I'm missing something, but maybe not, based on this thread? I have an interface of about 200 datapoints. I'm having team scan through them and make comments if I've got the priority level wrong. There are about 10 people doing review in some form or another. I don't want them to edit the records, so they all have "commenter" permissions.

Folks are leaving great comments, but the only way for me to find them is to scroll through all 200 and check the ones with the comment icon, trying not to open all of them, including the ones that I've already seen. I cannot set up an automation based on the "leaves a comment trigger" per https://community.airtable.com/t5/product-ideas/automation-trigger-comment-on-record/idi-p/83500 and I do not want to train each of the users to @ me in the comments as this will cause drop off.
