I recently updated a form to "new forms" (by clicking on the "⇧ upgrade to new forms" button from a form view within a base) and edited/published the form via an Interface (as opposed to within a base, as I've done previously). I want to enable the same "email me at xxxxx@domain.org"  option that is available in the old form builder, but I don't see that option anywhere in the new Interfaces form builder. I've set up an automation to send me a generic email each time the form is submitted, but what I really want is the same nice email I used to get with an overview of the form responses. Am I missing something obvious? Or is this feature not available with "new forms"? Thanks!

Unfortunately, that is no longer a built-in feature of the new forms, but you can get this functionality with Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable.

Fillout is 100% free and offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records with a form, display Airtable lookup fields & Airtable rollup fields & Airtable attachments & formulas on forms, dynamically & conditionally filter linked record fields by any values that you would like, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, accept payments on forms, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, create new linked records on a form, display as many fields as you want to see in a linked record selection list (including attachments), connect a single form to dozens of external apps simultaneously, limit the number of linked records that can be chosen, set advanced field validations & limitations, upload an unlimited amount of attachments simultaneously, add CAPTCHAs to your form, add choice matrixes to your forms, direct integration with hundreds of apps like Calendly & Google Maps on your forms, and so much more.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Thanks for the quick response! I miss the old email feature, but this takes care of my issue. 🙂

Hi there!

At miniExtensions, we've created a third-party form that integrates seamlessly with Airtable, making it easy to send emails automatically after form submission. No need to set up an additional automation.

In the Engagement section of the form settings, you can select the field containing the recipient’s email (configure a default value for this field if you want a static value that can be hidden), the field for the email subject, and the field for the email body, which also supports rendering an HTML formula. This feature allows extensive customization options, enabling you to incorporate data from other fields directly into the body of your email:
