I have a couple word document templates that are localized on our company's SharePoint.
I would like to create a button automation that would connect with Make to generate a letter based off the template and then create a pdf and upload it to the attachment field in AirTable.
I am having difficulty in figuring out the right steps in Make to perform this action.
The word templates are in our document library in a SharePoint.
I was thinking of having the button in AirTable interface check off a box in the back end that would trigger the Watch Records in Make to run the scenario. However, I don't know how to properly generate the letter and do the next steps that follow.
Can anyone help? Or perhaps offer guidance?
If there is an alternative method to generating letters that you prefer that would be accessible in the Interface Designer, I would appreciate it.

As an alternative, you can use typeflow.us. it will help you to generate PDFs based on Airtable data. We use Google Docs as template.
We offer a lifetime plan currently at 150$. This plan lets you generate as many pdf as needed.
