An option to make updating a multi-select field with a button an additive or subtractive process

When clicking on a button to update a record's multi-select list, it appears that we are only able to specify an absolute list of options that the field will take on. It would be helpful if we could specify values to add or delete as well.

I've attached screenshots showing the Tags field before I click the button, after I click the button, and what the button does. Seems to be there could be some options beyond 'Set Blah To Selected Records' (Records? Surely 'Options'?) We could have 'Add Selected Options to Blah' or 'Remove Selected Options from Blah'

I know in my screenshots the multi-select fields are editable but maybe I don't want the user to be able to apply any tag at that point in the workflow.
