I love the new conditional fields in the AirTable Interface.  But I was wondering if it is possible to have collapsable sections (or grouped) in expanded records, beyond conditional viewing.  right now I use Buttons as "SHOW" or "HIDE" with the conditional viewing to mimic a collapsing section.  But i am hoping that this can be made into a real feature

@Drew_Nemer , can you say a little more about how you're using the buttons to mimic a collapsing section? This is a potentially useful solution for something I'm working on.

Yes, we really need this feature in Airtable.

I find the Interface view very good to create Web App like tools, but the problem is that the user experience is really messy when it comes to more complex Record details. It is just one long big list of fields and can be visually and mentally overpowering when sometimes a feature is not being used.

For example, I have a group called "Multimedia Assets", and in this group there are quite a lot of attachment fields. The way it looks now is problematic because suddenly there are lots of visible attachment fields that - if not being used - just flood the record detail with empty and space-consuming fields.

Having a dropdown that hides the fields contained within an interface group would be a massive improvement to the user experience.

@Drew_Nemer how are you using buttons to show and hide information?

@Drew_Nemer Elaboration on the hide/show buttons would be helpful to me too!
