Extracting only first attachment

Hi all,

How can I take the first attachment from a list of attachments and place it in another attachment field? Is there any solution that does not require scripting or integrating Zapier/Make?

I don't think there is unless something has recently changed. I have always used the API for solutions to similar problems.
