Hiding Fields in Android App?

Hi.
I would be grateful for an explanation of how to hide fields in the Android app. I’m going round in circles trying to find the option.

I can’t find such an option in the iOS app, so my gut says that the Android app is similar. Looks like all hiding has to be done either in the desktop app or on the web.

Even if you hide fields in the desktop/web view, the mobile apps do not honor that. The mobile apps have no concept of “Hidden Fields”.

There’s a feature request out there for feature parity specific to iOS:

I could not find a dedicated feature request for this so I made one. Add your support there, and maybe consider making a similar request for Android?

Thanks for all the replies. Hiding fields seems essential for mobile given the scarcity of screen space.

The iOS app does, at least partly. I opened a base with lots of hidden fields in just about every table. In the full grid view, the hidden fields stay hidden. When expanding a single record, though, all fields are visible.
