Feature request: Small enhancement for record fields in Interfaces

When you use “Link to other record fields” in Interfaces you can show several items. However if you use links or buttons, they are not useable in the interface.

My workaround for now is to also fetch a link from the same table and then show that link as a separate field in the Interface. But as you can see it is not pretty.

If you could only just click the button directly…

Button fields & URL fields are already clickable in interfaces. If yours are not clickable, then something else is going on. You may want to reach out to support@airtable.com.

He means he can’t click the button in the record card. That is because the whole linked record card is a button. It could be nice to see those buttons clickable when displayed on a linked record card.

Hi, as Kamille noticed this is not the case for linked record fields. The buttons you see in my screenshot do not work. The whole record field works as some sort of button when in editable mode.

Yes, button fields in the main record do work in interfaces.

Preferably these buttons or links work when the field is in non-editable mode.
