Maximum Quantity of Automations Too Low

Today I hit my maximum number of automations which is 25 in case you are unaware as I was. It would be great if there was a way to upgrade that number with a fee. Or if the limit was a bit higher. Of if there was a "you have x number automations left’ message so I wasn’t to be caught unaware.

Unfortunately my master plan of fully automating my use cases cannot be implemented as I had hoped. I’ll figure out a work around but I have to admit I am severely disappointed.

Yep, it’s a real problem.

And what’s even worse is the maximum number of RUNS per month per workspace.

Once you exceed your number of runs in a month, you can’t run ANY of your automations until the next month! You can’t even pay for more runs in your current month! So any automations that your business might depend on will effectively be shutdown until the following month. You literally have to wait around until the next month before you can use your automations again.

For now, until Airtable fixes all of this, if people are doing a LOT of automations in a month, I would recommend that people use Integromat’s Automations instead of Airtable’s Automations. It has none of the limitations of Airtable’s Automations, and it is significantly more advanced as well because it is an entire platform dedicated to automations.

p.s. Note that I am a professional Airtable consultant and a Registered Integromat Partner, and the Integromat link contains my personal referral code.

Bump. Very frustrating. Would love an answer to this.

Just updated:

Hi all - I hope your week is off to a great start. Wanted to share an exciting update from the Airtable team that as of today default automation limits have been increased from 25 to 50 automations :tada:

This will be fully rolled out today. If you aren’t seeing the changes, make sure to clear your cache.

Additional resources:

I also wanted to share that the team is beta testing the ability for the community to subscribe to the Airtable What’s New base so that you can stay up to date as documentation is published, or in the case that a formal announcement about a feature is not shared. You can opt-in here and if you have feedback for the team on how to make this more useful, here is the best place to share it. We hope this is helpful in keeping everyone up to date and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
