Hi all - wondering if anyone can help because I’m struggling!

 

I used Airtable to track customers and business opportunities through two linked tables. Within business opportunities, each potential deal is categorised to a stage (via single select) - either Early Lead, Qualified Lead, Proposal Submitted, Pitching, Closed - Won or Closed - Lost).

I can link the tables so that ALL opportunities are attached together, but what I would ideally like is to have a section / field in the Customer record for Current Opportunties (Stage = Lead / Qualified / Proposal Submitted) and Past Opportunties (Stage = Closed - Won or Closed - Lost).

I understand that I could link automatically and filter the possible selections based on the Stage but what I want is for that categorisation to happen automatically.

Any ideas? I’ve tried (and failed) to come up with an automation to do it!

Hi Hannah,

How are you planning on using the Deals differently based on their stage?

Because I would suggest to have them all in the same linked field, and then apply filters to see the Deals in the desired stage.
