Large enterprises face the ongoing challenge of securing sensitive data while collaborating with external vendors and agencies. How can you maintain strong security controls without hindering vital external partnerships?

Join us on August 28 at 10am PT / 1pm ET where we’ll have @MatteoCrOps, an experienced Airtable consultant at CrOps, for insights of how to build Airtable within Enterprise-level contexts. This event will be focused on how to include external partners into your workflows, securely and efficiently. Specifically, we’ll be showing how Interfaces and Portals can come together to achieve both internal data control and seamless external collaboration.

What We'll Cover:

  • Vendor Approval Workflows: Establish clear processes for onboarding and managing external partners
  • Controlled Data Portals: Learn to create vendor-specific views, ensuring collaborators only see relevant tasks and assets through a single interface
  • Real-World Implementation: Matteo will walk through a detailed demo of this system, including a discussion of its structure and potential setup considerations

Special Guest: We're also pleased to have @Ayesha_Bose, Lead Product Manager at Airtable, join us to offer additional insights on building effective Portals.

This is an opportunity to gain actionable strategies for balancing enterprise security with collaborative efficiency using Airtable.

Hey Enterprise Network!

Thanks to everyone who joined our Table Talks event on Secure Vendor Management with Portals! We had a lively and practical discussion on how to streamline vendor collaboration while keeping sensitive data secure. If you weren’t able to attend, you can catch the full recording below.

3 Key Takeaways 👀

Secure Vendor Workflows
Use Airtable forms, automations, and approval queues to vet vendors and collaborators with a double layer of security.

Portals for External Sharing
Portals let vendors access only the data they need—secure, branded, and simple to manage.

AI-Powered Validation
Airtable AI helps automate checks, like verifying collaborator emails and confirming vendor contacts.

🗓 What’s Next

  • Enterprise Network Conversations: Keep the discussion going right here in the Enterprise Network user group! Share your challenges, ask questions, and see how others are approaching vendor and data security.

  • Upcoming events: Stay tuned for more from @MatteoCrOps. He’ll be making more Community event appearances so you all can learn from his deep Airtable expertise, and be sure to follow him on LinkedIn here.

Great event. Thanks for sharing.

Towards the end, I think Ayesha mentioned something about Beta testing for whitelabelling portals to host on custom domains. Is that only for enterprise users, or is it open for Orgs on lower plans too? And, where can we apply for it?

@Ayesha_Bose Oh, we’re not on the enterprise plan. I’ve submitted the form regardless. Thanks for the link.
