Online editing differents tables

Hi Dear Communauty,

 

Facing a small challenge with my apps 

actually i need to create a recipe directly but i have to do it into 2 steps as I have diffrents tables 

and really dont know how to solve it

if somebody can help to fix it i will more than happy

How does this look?  It uses Interfaces and I’ve set it up here for you to check out

 

The idea is we have two tables:

Recipes

Components

 

And we create an Interface that lets us create new Recipe and Component records easily:

Hey ​@Chef Tarik,

The best way to solve this currently is probably using interfaces as shown by Adam above. Reason for it: Airtable native forms currently do not allow for creating linked records in different tables.

Having said that, if you still want to work via one unique form you can achieve that using Fillout forms -which support parent/child record creation and have a direct integration with Airtable (free plan is super generous btw). 

Advantage of using forms, is that you can make certain fields required and/or show/hide based on certain conditional logic. You can still use airtable forms through interfaces for the ingredients, rather than inline creation shown by Adam. That is up to you!
