Airtable Interface Issue: Unable to Add New Charts and Tables

Hey ​@frankyray_21!

Is this happening when creating a new Page within an interface (eg. Dashboard, Record Review, etc). Or when trying to create a new element (eg. group, field, number element, etc) within an existing page? 

Are you an editor for the base (check permissions).

I am encountering the same issue. I can add a new group and duplicate elements, but I can not add any new kind of element.

What Page layouts are you guys having this issue on? All page layouts?

Everything is working for me.. except for Dashboards, were I do find some glitches and I seem to be unable to add more that one Chart/List etc within the same group unless I duplicate it.

Hi Mike. You are correct, I tested around some more, it seems to just be the Dashboard interface. Exactly as you describe.

We might be missing smth, but I don’t think that is the case.

Hi Airtable Support Team,

We are currently experiencing the same issue.

Unable to add a chart in a new group with another element.

Current Scenario:
If you create a new group and add a “Number” element, you can no longer add a chart and vice versa.

Please check asap.
I am working on a quarterky finance report and really need this function working at the earliest.

Exactly the same issues. Mine is occurring on the dashboard as well. But then again I'm hardly using any of the others.

I’m still experiencing issues on my end. Any update on yours?

It sounds like a glitch or a browser issue. Try these quick fixes:

1. Refresh the page.

2. Clear your browser cache.

3. Try a different browser or device.

4. Check if your Airtable plan has any limits.

5. If the issue remains, log out and back in.

If none of these work, Airtable support might help. Let me know if you need more guidance!

I’m having the same issue in my dashboards, even when I try using different browsers and re-logged in. I was able to delete an element, but I can’t add anything

Just ran into this issue myself, I couldn’t add a number element to a pre-existing group in my dashboard. I could add a new group with the number element below though. Weird issue and not critical for me, but there nonetheless.
