Hi,
i’m trying to create an Interface → Dashbord.
Got the pivot table. I set option: “Click to see underlying records”, bo absolutely i don't know how to edit what info is shown in this list (i don’t mean “Click into record details” - detailed info is working fine).

I would be gamechanging option for me, but i need to set different info on this list to correctly and fast identify entries.

Hey @Zawi!

How Airtable handles which which fields, and in which order, they show up on those cards is based on the order of the fields on the first view on your corresponding table.
E.g. Assuming card records correspond to Contacts, if on your Contact’s table the first view shows
First Name
Last Name
Email

Then that is the order that the cards will show on the card. If you switch that to Email, Last Name, First Name, then the order should change on the cards shown on your image.

Would you mind giving it a shot and letting me know if that worked for you?

@Mike_AutomaticN
Hi, thanks for trying to help.

I have one view (grid), I change the order, unfortunately the order of displaying data has not changed.
Did I misunderstand something?

Hey @Zawi!

I took a second look at it, and cannot yet figure out how this really works. First impression of what seems to be happening on my side:

1. Header of the card: Primary field of the table (from the table of the source of the Pivot table/group of the dashboard)
2. First field shown below the header: Column of the pivot table
3. Second field shown below the header: Row of the pivot table
4. Third field shown below the header: none shown yet on my side.

I see it is not the exact case on your Pivot table. Let me play around with it a bit more, but maybe we are missing out on smth obvious and someone else can help out.

Hope to get back to you later today!

Is there any chance to ask airtable company directly?

My pivot table details looks exactly like Zawi’s aside from record details, and I doubt this is editable. It seems like the header is the primary field, the first field is what’s being summed/averaged/whatever, the second field is the rows of the pivot table, and the third is the columns of the pivot table. I suspect that Mike’s difference (he doesn’t have a third field) is that his pivot table is summarizing by count rather than field.

You can always submit a help ticket, but considering there’s a schema at work and no clear options in the interface to edit this component, I seriously doubt that it exists as a feature.

@zawi.   Mike’s  description is correct, but for a count rather than a calculation.  In your case the value from the calculation is the first field followed by the row, then the column.

For count it would be

and for a sum

I wish I had an solution to go with this, but I hope it clears some confusion.

This thread

contains a response from @ScottWorld , including a loom describing the same issue.  If you can’t get any information from airtable support perhaps either @Kelly_OShaughne might have some information.
