Hey all

I am looking for an AT specialist who has experience with building out complex inventory systems specific to manufacturers with complex product SKU management.

The Base will need to talk to my other Base which is a marketplace where users of the inventory systems will be ordering from.

I would need to see examples of previous projects to see experience.

Let me know if keen and can discuss further

Hi,

I've built a few complex workflows for manufacturers and stockists in food and drinks categories. Things like custom production planner interfaces, databases, variable dealer pricings, custom quote, PO and shipping labels, Product landing pages etc.

Check my work at vikasvimal.com and schedule a call at calendar.vikasvimal.com

Hey @FPX

What do you mean by completed product SKU management? In my experience building ERP for manufacturer businesses, the complexity came in by the product variations. In that case, the client needed to make his entire warehouse available to many B2B clients, so we used Shopify to build their interfaces.

Shopify's product structure is the perfect data structure I would recommend following, too; the way variants are linked to pain products and generate the unique product numbers is scalable with no limits on product counting.

I am building systems by doing co-building sessions where we build live the solution you need. This helps if you want the solution to be done fast since you get it done on the call while you know exactly how the system is built.

Happy to schedule a 30-minute conversation with no commitment to review your case and share my suggestions. Here is my calendar link: https://cal.com/dimitrisgoudis/meet-dimitris

Thanks,

By complicated product management I mean that the product has many variables. It can go through various stages of manufacturing. I.e. UnTreated -> Treated. Or it's size, grade etc can change which increases and decreases the amount of that product per size, grade.

@FPX I guess the manufacturing cost per variation and price details will be different as well, right? Please use this calendar link adjusted on the Australia timezone: https://cal.com/dimitrisgoudis/solve-it-in-30-mins-aedt
