Looking forward to this function, essential for planning campaigns.

Any news about date ranges?

This feature is missing in the majority of similar online solutions. Airtable will really stand up upon alternatives with these enhancements. A calendar without date ranges is almost useless in my opinion.

+1 for this feature. Need it for non-profit org cabin reservations for 280+members throughout the year. I’d be a willing beta participant for this feature.

+1 for us, eagerly awaiting for displaying date ranges in calendar view.

I’m shocked that a date range is not already part of the features, given how much farther ahead they are in other ways. We really, really need this feature so that entire weeks can be associated with a specific event.

At least an event length field. Everything defaults to an hour appointment, and I have need of specifying how long an appointment is (whether through date range or appointment length), otherwise the calendar view is not really helpful

Matt from Airtable here. We are currently planning out improvements to Calendar View including support for date ranges. To set up a date range, you’ll configure a calendar with a separate start date and end date field; the end date can be a Date field or a Formula field.

These improvements will be available in beta in a couple months.

Hi Matt,

Any update on when we can expect this feature?

Joining the chorus on this one!

This is a blocker for us. Paying for Airtable isn’t fully viable for us without it as we’re an event heavy org.

I add my vote for this feature! Very needed and soon please!

Another huge +1 from me as well. I guess this is what I was looking for (see my other thread) and is not currently a feature. Hopefully it’s on the horizon very soon.

Do you have an update on the how the beta has gone and if AT is close to implementing the date range feature soon?

Much needed.

I’d love to organize my webdesign company with airtable… date range and duration is a must for that

I’d like to be able to enter a date range into a single cell. Like creating an event.

Use case:

  1. I work in EdTech and indicating when my client’s schools are out for spring break, summer, personal vacation would be helpful.

  2. Indicating length of events, seminars, professional development, conferences, etc.

Hi y’all! Today we released a bunch of new calendar features for our users on Pro plans, of which date ranges is one! You can read more about it on our launch post.

+1 for this feature because to this day it's still not possible for some reason, even though it seems quite an obvious feature
