In many different areas of Airtable, important fields have their information completely cut off.
You can see this with calendar views, gallery views, kanban views, forms, and linked records.
Below is an example of a cut-off linked record. What year is the linked record? Is the time of the linked record AM or PM?
What makes this kind of absurd is that Airtable actually KNOWS that these are date & time fields, but Airtable itself doesn’t even give enough room for its own date & time fields to display properly.
Actually, upon further exploration of Airtable, it looks like Airtable insists on cutting off important information everywhere throughout the entire product line.
Text gets cut off everywhere in the entire product line: calendar view, gallery view, kanban view, form view, charts, graphs, all of the linked fields in expanded views of a linked record field, column headers, page designer block, etc.
There is no area in the entire Airtable product line that DOESN’T get cut off.
Even the new “View sidebar” cuts off the names of views, whereas the old View sidebar always showed the full names of all the views.
This is just really bad design direction from the Airtable team, particularly with the new “View sidebar”, where we need to see the names of all of our views at a glance.
