Good day team,
I currently have a table wherein we have an auto number field as well as an attachment field or excel sheet with our clients personal data. Then the data on the excel template will then be manually transferred to another table. Is there a way or an automation that could also captured the correct auto number field and be seen as well on the other table based on the subjects in the file? For Example:
Subject 1 - 1234
Subject 2 - 1234
Subject 3 - 1235
Thanks

Hmm, and so the subject doesn't exist in any form in Airtable, only in the files themselves?

Hi,
Yes the subject won't exist in the table unless someone donwloads the excel sheet and transfers it to another table.
Thanks

Hmm, maybe you could try using Make to upload the file into Microsoft 365, grab the subject, and then put it back into Airtable?

Hi Pluto,
Is there any way for it to be done via Airtable?
1. Client uploads an excel sheet in a table with the corresponding autonumber
2. Internal team manually transfers the data (Name, Date of Birth, Email Contact number) in the excel sheet to another table.
3. An automation in Airtable to capture the correct Order ID autonumber to the other table with the data?
Thanks

I can't think of a way to do that I'm afraid. You'd need some sort of unique identifier in both tables to match the two together, and from my understanding of your workflow that doesn't exist
Could you get the internal team to link it to the correct record when they're keying stuff in?
