Creating checkbox in rich text field via scripting

I want to set the value of a Rich Text Field with formatting through automations. However the formatting doesn't work when updating through Automations. Is there a way to do this? Or maybe through a script? How do I ensure that the formatting stays?

Hm could you provide some screenshots of the automation that didn't work?  When I use an automation to paste markdown formatted text into a rich text field it comes out with the formatting as expected

My bad, I was just copy pasting from Word, I didn't format it with markdown.

Ah...I don't think that's possible.  I think it's possible to convert Word files into markdown format, but even then you might face an issue as Airtable's markdown functionality isn't complete I believe

I reckon you may want to open a support ticket to get some official advice!
