Hello! I am attempting to assign employees to presentation times and have the automation create the event and invite them to it via Outlook. I've established everything necessary but cannot assign the public calendar in the Outlook: Create Event automation. I also cannot adjust the "From" email. I need to do so because we want the invites to come from a shell email address and not from an individual, and utilizing the Public Folder Calendar in outlook instead of a personal outlook calendar that is shared so that we don't have any interruptions if the owner leaves the company.
Can anyone advise a workaround or if this is a feature that Airtable is working on?
Thanks!

I would recommend using Make's Outlook Calendar integrations for this.
However, if you've never used Make before, there is quite the learning curve, so I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable. I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Hi jfevurly
Not sure if I've understood correctly... are you trying to select a shared calendar to create events in, and getting an error?
I'm working with Airtable to resolve the same issue. I am hopeful that a solution will be released soon.

Exactly! I can select personal calendars that have been shared (if that makes sense) but no Shared/Public calendar’s appear. We need it to be a Shared/Public Outlook Calendar though, so that it continues to function/sync in perpetuity.

In theory they have already fixed it, as I received the below from Airtable support via email yesterday:
"Our engineers just rolled out an update to everyone that should address this. If you re-create the external account connection & try again, it should work!"
Our tests today were not fruitful, however, so there may be more tweaking required or perhaps just bad luck on our end. You may like to try their advice of re-creating the account connection and see if it works for you?

No luck here today either - even after re-creating the external account connection. 😞

In testing today, we have re-created the connection AND I needed to specifically "share" the calendar from the shared mailbox to myself - only then did it show up in Airtable for me to select. Odd as I never needed to do this before...
