Updating multiple fields in multiple records when a new record in a different table is created

Help! I’m trying to create an adopt-a-clinic scenario.

Here is what I am hoping for:

  1. folks submit a form (already created) with name, email and number of clinics they will adopt (choices are 1,3,5,7 and 10)
  2. a new record is created in the “grid view” from that form with those fields
  3. it will trigger an update of the existing records in a separate table of clinics we have
    —> in other words, to pull over the name and email from the form to the “volunteer name” and “volunteer email” fields in the existing clinic table (essentially assigning people clinics when they submit the form)

I’m hoping it could also be done to assign the correct number of clinics to each person based on the drop down choice included on the form of 1,3,5,7 or 10.

Is this possible??
