I have linked field which connects two tables. On clicking “+” symbol,
I can select records from connected table. There is also option to search “Find an existing record” records to add records. I can only search with primary field value of that table while unable to find
anything using any other field vale. It gives empty value.
I want to search records using another field value of that table not only primary field value.
here is the pic of search option

Unfortunately that isn’t possible

The workaround that you can consider is making your primary field a formula field that concatenates the all of the fields you’d like to be able to search by

ok thats fine, can I create more than one primary column in airtable. Maybe that will solve problem.

Hmm, I don’t think it’s possible to create more than one primary column in Airtable I’m afraid

Ok,Thanks a lot. Will try to create formula this scenario as you have earlier mention.
Thanks Again.

@Mohsin_Raza Be sure to email support@airtable.com with your request for this to be improved so that we can search multiple fields. It is currently one of the biggest limitations of Airtable, and it really needs to be addressed.

Yeah, Absolutely. There are many limitation of airtable and it is one of them.
