Dear Community!
When creating a timeline view with a "Day" timescale the horizontal axis ranges from 1st Dec 2023 to 20th Aug 2024. Is there a way to adjust these start and end dates of the timeline?
I'm trying to make use of the timeline view for planning shifts during an event that only goes for a few days and the massive range on the horizontal axis makes the view basically unusable.
Best regards
Henry

Ah, I see! So you're saying that when you scroll all the way to the left / right, the range is from 1st Dec 2023 to 20th Aug 2024 and you want to reduce that range? If so, I don't think that's possible I'm afraid

Hmm, could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing? I tried to recreate it and wasn't able to:
If you could provide an invite link to an example base that'd be super helpful!

Hey Adam!
Thanks for looking into it. Here's a link to an example timeline view: https://airtable.com/appesQ8SU9tKumyLT/shrrstO6P1JC6lOYW/tbl77av03m03hEfAP
It's basically an empty base where I added two date fields "start" and "end". Further more I filled three records with test data and created a timeline view. Now the timeline view starts on 1st December 2023:
and it ends on 15th August 2024:
while all the interesting data is sitting lost on 14th and 15th May:
Especially when using the "Day" timescale the horizontal scrollbar on the bottom becomes close to useless when the entries in the base are spread over a few days only. What I would like to achieve is to reduce the time range to the few days where shifts are defined.
Hope that makes it clear.
Best regards
Henry

Ah well, that's a bummer. Gonna have to use another view then. Thanks for clarifying.
