All tables appear to have the same color of lines separating records and fields. Is there a way to format tables so the lines appear darker? They are hard to see.

Unfortunately not. Airtable has almost zero customization allowed with its platform, in terms of UI. What you see is (sadly) what you get.

You may want to suggest this as a feature request by sending an email to support@airtable.com.
