Why and how do all of these extra fields get created?

Do you have (or used to have) a table named “Condo Units” that linked to this table? If you had base scheme changes that involved repeatedly creating a link to this table from a “Condo Units” table, and then deleting that linked record field in the “Condo Units” table, this would be the result.
