Is there a way to clear default columns in new tables? I always delete the notes, attachments, and status columns, which is tedious. I just want a truly blank slate.

Hi @Kailyn_Nelson - this is a nice idea for more experienced users of Airtable. I’m guessing these fields are added by default to help newer users, but right now there’s no way to create a blank slate table.

Yup, had this exact gripe with the templating mechanics, so what I’ve been doing from day one is going for the “paste data into table” option while creating a new table, then pasting a single character that’s not a whitespace and confirming the “smart” headers detection. This leaves you with a blank slate that you’re after in two clicks and just as many seconds, so it’s definitely faster than deleting the scaffolded fields one by one.
