This is truly one of the most annoying problems in Airtable, and that says a lot considering that the entire Airtable platform is littered with hundreds of problems like this.
Users have been shouting about this for 6 years now, yet Airtable must have some sort of an internal policy of never listening to its users.
Apparently, the people who work at Airtable have never left the USA. This is a very common problem in the USA.
The people who work at Airtable literally have zero clue that 80% of the world formats their numbers & currency differently than USA, which means that Airtable is LITERALLY unusable outside the USA.
I don’t know how to get Airtable to listen to its users. They literally won’t listen to us at all. But what you can try to do is to email support@airtable.com and let them know that this is absolutely maddening that they don’t support number or currency formatting for 80% of the world.
