Italic text doesn't work with Docupilot/Airtable Integration

Hi all, 

I have a docupilot/Airtable integration set up where every time a student submits a form via Airtable, it sends them a PDF of their responses. There is an automation set up via Zapier that creates the PDF and an automation in Airtable that sends out an email confirmation with the PDF as an attachment. 

Some of the fields in the submission form are long line text with the rich text formatting option so that people are able to italicize text when needed but the problem is that when the PDF is created, it doesn't capture the italicized text and instead adds an underscore before and after the italicized text. (Ex. _text_ instead of text)

Does anyone have any idea as to what may be causing this issue?

How does docupilot recognize italics?  Perhaps you could create a formula field that would format your text in a way that lets docupilot recognize said italics, and use that field in the Zap instead?
