I am quite new to airtable and looking to make an order form for work.
The data will be coming from an API of a materials company.
What is the best way to add this data to airtable?

Hi @Rory_Ahanan

I think the best way, would be to use Integromat, it’s an automation app.

There is a HTTP app that can be used for the data and then you would use the Airtable app to place the data into Airtable. Once that’s done you csnn create your order form in Airtable Pro. There are also form apps in Integtomat, but I don’t know if you want to use those apps.

Here is their site, for more information and if it will help for your use case:

Hope this helps.

Hi mary,

Thanks for your’ help. I was looking at using form apps but I would be just automating the data back into airtable anyway so if I can stay in airtable then that would be ideal. Do you know if theres a way I can implement a search feature on the airtable form so that people can choose options from the database, as it is a huge dataset

Hi @Rory_Ahanan

I am not too familiar with Airtable forms, but I did manage to find this information.

Perhaps it can get you started.
