Update field select colors

Hello.

I am trying to create a script that updates the color of an option within the selection field. Is there a way to do that? I want to keep the same text but only change the color because when I create new options via API they are all created with the same color.

There’s some workaround info in this thread but in all likelihood, you still won’t be able to do that. Such interactions Are pretty much the DOM’s territory and Airtable ain’t budging from its turf for but an inch.
