Hi!
Is there any easy way to add a unit to the number field?
I have a lot of tables with dimensions. Some of them are metric, some imperial.
I want to show them as:
0,234 => 0,234 mm
or
0,234 => 0,234"
Of course without changing numbers to texts - because I do a few calculations on them. Let's say "just view"
Thanks for the help,
if this is something easy and obvious - sorry I'm a newbie 🙂
regards
tomek

Hi @swanlike,
Unfortunately, Airtable has no way to display units at the end of a string while keeping the number type.
If you need units, you will need both a display field (strings) with units added and a numeric values field.

This is what I thought! And, at the end, my table has columns to look nice and other columns that are just for proper calculation.
Thanks for answer Sho!
