Hi there,
I’m trying to figure out how to calculate rolling 3, 6, 12 month burn rate. What formula can I use to automatically calculate and update burn rate (or other average) based on number of past months?
Thank you!

Can you share screen shots that show the structure of your data?
A lot depends on how your data is setup. Do you have linked records per month? Are there multiple records per month? Or do you have a single table for all records and multiple fields?

@kuovonne thank you for your reply. I have a table specifically for burn rate. I’d like to see our burn rate for the last 12 months (or 3, or 6. CUrrently, I have a formula that calculated burn rate YTD but I’d like it to be on a rolling basis((Starting balance - ending balance)/months)). Starting balance - ending balance is an easy part but currently I need to manually update the divisor . How can I get it to update automatically based on number of months, not the month we are in? Thank you!
