I love how the Interface Designer allows for the pop up window to add records to a base. This is great, I just hate that it follows the permissions set by adding into the regular base.
I don't want Staff to be able to enter a new line into the base, rather follow the steps laid out in a form. This is why previously we used a form link to add new records. However, the Interface Designer Add button does not allow any person to add new records into the base regardless of permissions, only those with the permission to add new records.
It should be like how the forms work.
