I've build out an Airtable database that's working well but I'm getting stuck on what to use as a frontend.

It's an internal lease management tool that needs to have a client login.

We need the ability to have user permissions, an easy to read dashboard that looks nice, the ability to update records and export data.

It also ideally should be a tool that does not have a steep learning curve.

I started using Softr but then saw that the dashboard elements are only available on the professional plan ($139 a month) which is more than we want to pay right now.

I tried Noloco which was great but the dashboard elements didn't present the information the way we needed it and the aesthetics weren't what we wanted.

I would be so grateful for any ideas on what is the way to go.

Thanks!

Did you already look at Airtable's interfaces & portals, both of which allow you to create dashboards with updating & exporting capabilities?

Alternatively, if you're only looking for 3rd-party products outside of Airtable, you already mentioned Noloco and Softr, which are both well-loved portals with dashboard capabilities.

Additionally, you may want to take a look at JetAdmin, Pory, and Glide, which are very popular as well.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Hello,

You can also have a look at Weweb.

Thank you! I'll take a look at these and see how it goes.

I had heard about Weweb but the impression I got was that it's a relatively steep learning curve for someone without coding experience (that's me).

Is this true or was that a mistaken impression?

Hello,

That's correct, Weweb is not as easy as Airtable and does imply to take some time going through the tutorials.

This being said, it is a low code tool.

Except for the dashboards, I’m now using the interface portal to create a free and personalized space for our clients.

If you haven’t found a solution and want to see what we built, I’m happy to do a demo.  Airtable can produce basic dashboards but we don’t require that…yet.
