Are you referring to setting a specific visualization for each filtered tab within the new layouts? If so, it is not currently possible to set a different visualization for each filtered tab; however, you can pick multiple visualization options and let the end user pick which visualization they want to view in the interface. More on that can be found here.

If this isn't what you're referring to, would you mind providing a screenshot and some more details about what you're hoping to achieve? 

What I need is a different list of fields on the cards for different tabs. What's nice about the tabs is that I can organize the content into meaningfully different use cases, however those use cases generally refer to different metadata points. For example, I have one tab for assets that are third party source material and one tab for edited assets used for ads. The source material tab should show cards with things like "photographer" or "uploaded date" that wouldn't be relevant to the other tab.
