Hello,

I was notified by Airtable today that I am part of a minority of users using way too much API on the free tier, costing Airtable money. The email instructed me to look at my offending workspace. Unfortunately, the workspace sums all base APIs but does not break down percentage used by individual bases, making it impossible to tell which is the offender.

How do I find out which base is hammering the limit? How much API limit will I get if I upgrade to team? Why is this information so cryptic?

Thank you in advance,

-API Hog

@airhead

The change is actually for everyone on the free plan.

The APi limit on the free plan is 1,000 calls per month per workspace, but they didn’t enforce that before. Now they are enforcing it.

You will get 100,000 calls per month per workspace on the Teams Plan.

However, what is frustrating is that Airtable gives its customers no way to see what their current API count is. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Yeap, I believe we can only see the totals for the entire workspace at this point.  Maybe open a support ticket to ask for the base level data?

No, Airtable doesn’t display the API totals, either.

Weird, they show up for me!

Where do you see it? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

They show up in the "Account" section after selecting the workspace:

Hmm maybe they're rolling this out in phases or something?

I don’t see that on my end. Can you post a bigger screenshot of the entire screen?
