Hi guys,

I’m wondering if there’s a block or integration that I can use to create a word cloud from one and/or multiple columns in Airtable?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Gary,

There is no word cloud block! What you can do is export any table as CSV and import that csv into a word cloud creator.

Cheers for your quick response, @Aron. Do you know if there’s a way to integrate into Airtable? Would love it if I could make it automatic, but happy to do this manually if I need to.

A word cloud (a.k.a tag cloud) is a simple visualization of data, in which words are shown in varying sizes depending on how often they appear in your data. Example below :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @garybpt

I hope you don’t mind, I posted the above image, only, on Integromat (it automates repetitive processes) on their Facebook page.

They suggested using this app together with the HTTP app and Integromat has an Airtable app too.

## Feature detection

    WordCloud.isSupported

will evaluates to `false` if the browser doesn't supply necessary functionalities for wordcloud2.js to run.

## Minimum font size

Some browsers come with restrictions on minimum font size preference on, and the preference will also impact canvas.
wordcloud2.js works around it by scaling the canvas, but you may be interested to know value of the preference. The value detected is accessible at

	WordCloud.minFontSize

## Usage

    WordCloud(elements, options);

`elements` is the DOM Element of the canvas, i.e. `document.getElementById('my_canvas')` or `$('#my_canvas')[0]` in jQuery.
