Attachments Storage and Location (Google Drive/ Airtable Integration)

I plan to sort out my google drive with Airtable sorting everything out through a tag system on Airtable.

My doubt is the following: as I upload file to Airtable can I erase them from google drive?
I mean, is Airtable producing a copy of the file somewhere? Or If I erase the file in its original location (google drive) would I lose access on Airtable as well?
